The election message asking for money or data

A call, text, email or AI-generated message uses a candidate, campaign or election office to promote a fake investment pool, collect a fraudulent donation, sell merchandise that never arrives, or send you to a copied voter-registration page.

What they want

Money, payment details or personal information for identity theft.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Check through another route.

Don’t use an unsolicited link. Check voter registration at vote.gov, verify political committees and filings at fec.gov, and confirm campaign contact details independently. A campaign contribution isn’t an investment and doesn’t produce a return.
