A sticker over the parking code
A fraudulent QR sticker covers the legitimate payment code on a parking meter.
What they want
Card details or money through a fake payment site.
YOUR NEXT MOVE
Check through another route.
Use the operator’s independently verified app or another official payment method. Inspect the sign and destination; placement on a meter does not prove authenticity.
