Privacy

The short version: an email address, used to email you, and nothing else.

What is collected

If you fill in a sign-up form, the email address you type, and optionally a first name and what brings you to the site. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is stored.

What it is used for

To send the free resource you asked for, and occasional emails about new books and new free resources. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Addresses are not sold, rented or shared with anyone for their own marketing.

Where it is kept

Sign-ups are stored in a private database (hosted by Supabase) under the author’s control. The website can only add an entry to it — it cannot read the list back — so the address list is not exposed by the site itself. If an email service provider is used later to send the emails, it will be named in the footer of every email sent.

What is not collected

No password, no payment details, no location, and nothing about the young reader. The record is the address you typed, optionally a first name, which of the four descriptions you picked, and which free resource and page you came from — so it is possible to tell which resources are worth making more of.

Children

The books are for young readers; this mailing list is not. Please do not sign up if you are under 16 — ask a parent or carer to. If a child’s address reaches the list, it will be removed on request and without argument.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email, or ask for your address to be deleted entirely, by replying to any email or using the contact page. Deletion means deletion.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other sites. If privacy-respecting visitor statistics are added later, this page will say so before they are.
